Before Anne Klein became "Anne Klein" she launched the Junior Sophisticates label with her husband Ben. The label ran from 1948 to the mid-sixties and I would date this coat as being from the early sixties. It is really extraordinary and that amazing pink color really makes a dramatic statement. The cut is stunning - supermodel long with narrow shoulders and a more fitted cut through the upper torso and long slim sleeves. It then flares out to sweep to the ground with miles of fabric. The fabric itself is a slightly nubby wool so has a richness of texture. Inside is is fully lined in a matching pink silk crepe. Well made and a real find for my girls who love pink. Excellent condition

Fully lined in a pink silk crepe and closes with a single large button at the front covered in the same pink wool fabric as the exterior. The button shows a teeny bit of wear form normal use. It has a good weight to it but is not unwieldy to wear.
